A lot of solid ABs from guys you don't necessarily expect them from in Figgins, Seager, Saunders and Ryan. I'll take 13 hits and 7 runs all day. Vargas pitched well, with Delabar doing a nice job out of the bullpen.

I saw them nail 4 runs in the 3rd on the radio, but ended up being to busy to watch the rest of the game!

It's nice to see us get a good offensive game going for once!

I didn't have internet in my house last night, so I had to go without commenting on the game much after starting the game thread.

I really thought we were going to get shutdown by McCarthy and that they would hit Vargy the second time around. Was pleasantly surprised to see us get the win and put up seven runs in the process. The bullpen still scares the shit out of me. We've got Steve Delebar and Tom Wilhelmsen as our setup men? I honestly think we should look into signing Pauley, if he's still out there.

Positives:

Saunders showed power to center
Ackley and Seager are pure hitters
Figgins still has some speed
Delabar looked suprisingly good, throwing in the mid 90's

Negatives:

Smoak's swing still looks long and slow
Ichiro still looks like the same hitter and I don't know if that'll work in the three spot over the long haul
Cespedes is looking like the next Vlad Guerrero.

Felix tonight. Let's go 3-1.
