Since the last time I updated his stats when he had 2 Xbase hits, both doubles in Tacoma. Mike Carp has the same number of Xbase hits and has the following triple slash line against triple A pitching this year in 51 ABs: .137/.185/.176. The man's OPS is .362. I wouldn't expect a whole hell of a lot right away. Not only that but he has 2 walks and 14 strike outs. Yeesh.

AND he stunk it up in spring training. Maybe he needs his eyes checked?

This doesn't bode well especially since he is out of minor league options. Hopefully he can find some of whatever made him so successful last year.

Carp seems like a all or nothing type of hitter so it shouldn't be a surprise if Carp regresses but i hope i am wrong and he continues what he did last season.
