i just moved from Glasgow / Scotland / UK to the North West and my lady's fam are from here.. been following the Mariners for about 5 years but only just moved. So it's official. New Mariners fan!

Funny, my lady's family is from Scotland and travels back about once a year, and has family visit here all the time from there. She's going there on a trip in August to compete in the pipe band world championships (she's a drummer). I'm not sure exactly where they're from, but her parents are both Scottish and they moved here before she was born. She's been working on being a Mariners fan, and has informed me that I am a fan of Glasgow's football team. Something about Celtic, or Rangers... I better get that one figured out before I go there with her...

Anyway- Welcome aboard, the Mariners suck right now, and have for a while, but we're all hoping that changes soon! Now is the perfect time to start rooting for them as you will not be labeled a bandwagon fan when they start producing wins!
