So i was wondering what the Mariners fans have in the shape of songs or chants.

Let's make this a thread for songs and chants if they exist - and if not let's make some up!

Having moved form the UK it seems very calm to be at a sports event with no singing.. I was at the SF Giants game yesterday and when their fans got vocal there was nothing to say back. people just sat and took it. So to battle these fans we came up with a couple of songs of our own.

The best one we got was for Jesus Montero.
When he's up to bat or whatever it goes like this:

Hey-zoos; Hey-zoos; Hey-zoos is on fire!
We don't need no water let the *Giants* burn!
Burn *Giants* !
Burn!

Obviously drop the opposition team name in there, whoever they are.
Sound good?

Lol, I don't think many people do songs here, but more power to you, I can see how it'd be weird for you being from the UK. But you were at the game yesterday too? My voice was hoarse from trying to yell louder than all those stupid Giants fans. Glad we won though.

The King's Court had the O-Liv-O chant going last year for a while. That was pretty cool. Until everyone started hating him.

That's what sucks about inter-league play when your team isn't very good. Our fans can be very complacent at the game, in sharp contrast to the Sounders, or the Seahawks fans. I would be stoked if there were songs to sing. When I went to a Sounders game I was shocked at how hard core their fans were, even compared to Seahawks fans. When opposing players would lay down on the pitch, hurt (or acting hurt) Sounders fans chant "LET HIM DIE! LET HIM DIE!" When the keeper kicks the ball across the field the entire stadium yells "YOU SUCK, ASSHOLE!! in unison." In Safeco, when we are inundated with opposing fans, we shift uncomfortably in our seats and passive aggressively get up for garlic fries when the stadium starts to chant "LET'S GO DODGERS!" It's weak.

Does anybody know any sounder songs? We could start by modify one of theirs...

We could do the bleacher creature thing and call out each player ....Jesus....monterO....Jesus....monterO

I am also a fan of heckling other team players but this is not really allowed in safeco like NY. The things I have heard at Shea and Yankee stadium will scar your ears for life lol

Maybe a pearl
Jam song like alive for ninth inning rallys?
