Vs the Red Sox. Poetic justice. Screw Beantown and all their bandwagon fans. As bad as this season has been, this series has been about as satisfying as you could've asked for (the Aaron Cook game never happened. It was all a dream).

I was rooting for the M's (obviously since I post at a Mariner's fan board rather than a Sox board!) when I was at the game earlier tonight, but I root for Boston every time they aren't playing the M's!
But that's because I was born in Nashua and grew up around Lowell before coming to the NW, I don't think the majority of people at Safeco tonight have ever been further east than Spokane!

Hell, I've been on the east coast for years and have always hated the Sox. The number of bandwagon fans that came out of nowhere after their world series a few years back was ridiculous. I bet over half of them still think Youk is on the team.

I loved it when Obama said "thanks for Youkilis".

No doubt man!! I absolutely can not stand New England fans, mostly stems from being a Dolphins fan, but Red Sox fans are creep'n up that list of hated fans/teams! I'm glad we got 2 of 4 from them... I'm tired of seeing these 1-0, 2-1 games and the M's being on the losing side of it... sigh...
