I really didn't think it was quite this bad until I looked at the numbers. Sorted by AVG/OBP/SLG/OPS

Kyle Seager:

Home: .160/.265/.267/.532

Away: .316/.348/.566/.914

An All-Star on the road, but Brendan Ryan at home. Yikes.

Michael Saunders:

Home: .186/.263/.265/.528

Away: .302/.354/.531/.885

Same thing.

Justin Smoak:

Home: .163/.229/.240/.469

Road: .239/.304/.413/.717

That road guy is what I had projected him to be.

Now, those were the three guys with the most striking splits. Ackley, Montero, and Ichiro also had major dips in home numbers, but they weren't as striking. John Jaso's numbers were fairly even, while Casper Wells and Brendan Ryan have actually hit markedly better at Safeco this year.

I'm going mental watching this team.

The ugly splits give me hope. They're the #1 road offense in baseball, worst at home. If they could get Safeco figured out, this is suddenly a dangerous team... Which is surprising when I think of all the times I wanted to launch my TV out the window.

This is a team that could get surprisingly decent in a hurry. I hope for that.

Yeah, the fact that they actually have the most runs scored on the road in all of baseball is actually unbelievable. Crazy to think when like you said, the offense has been extremely frustrating at times.
