Gimme L.J. Hoes and we have deal. He's young (22), doing well in AAA (.319/.372/.459 in 35 games) and doesn't really have a position in the Orioles future, with Markakis, Jones, and Avery in the outfield, and a better prospect in Jon Schoop blocking any chance of him moving back to second base.

And when he struggles we can be all, "We don't love dem Hoes!" and then we can trade for Dylan Gee and then if Gee gets called up and Hoes is sent down we can be all, "Gee's up Hoes down while you Motherf#$(as bounce to this."...Ok, that's a reach.

Ok, after letting that settle and laughing at our hilarious Hoes jokes, that's not a bad idea. I think if a deal is made, it would be for prospect(s), or for a marginal talent already on their roster. The Orioles are not in sell mode, and they're not going to let go of anyone that will weaken themselves offensively when they're contending in the AL east.

As much as I would love that to happen, it isn't.

We might be able to deal Brandon League out for a nice prospect or two.
If Kevin Millwood pitches well in his next couple starts, we could probably score a player for him too.

I just hope we still have a better 2nd half.

Lol I thought it would be obvious that I was joking. Although they would probably still get more production from Vargas than we got from Bedard.

They don't when I fantasize about that trade. Jones hits 60 HR, with a .370 avg while Vargas gets injured after putting up 14 runs in the first inning of his first start as an oriole, then has to get Tommy John Surgery!
