Well, in that case it's a bit of a conundrum, but it's rather like a draw. I lose and win mentally, so those games couldn't be less interesting to me. It's like watching the Cowboys play the Patriots, or WSU play Oregon... Those games are just tornadoes of things I despise, so to watch them would make me pull a Buhner.

I won't particulary root for the yankees in any ws. Would be nice for Ichiro to experience that, but even he was my favorite player for the last 11 years, the most important is the team ! So I'll be following cause he is special to me but rooting for the Yankees is a bit... Too much :p

Hell no. Additionally, that will be a chance for people who don't know anything about baseball to complain about how we always trade our good players who go on to do better elsewhere.

For an opinionated person, I can't make up my mind. For me, it totally depends on the team opposing them. For example, Washington versus Yankees, I'm pulling Washington the whole way. Phillies vs.Yankees, maybe I'll be rooting for the Yankees just for my old hero.

I make it a policy to NEVER root for the Yankees or a Yankee player EVER.
I wouldn't even stand and applaud Ichiro last night like 95% of the rest of the crowd did, it's just policy that's all.
