View Full Version : Will an M get plunked tomorrow?

This is regarding whether you think a yankee pitcher will intentionally plunk a Mariners hitter tomorrow. I think the odds are about 25%. Ivan Nova is on the mound, and he doesn't seem like the type, but it still wouldn't surprise me. Don't managers call the shots?

I doubt they will. Wouldn't be too surprised if they did though.

No incentive and Girardi is too smart. What's the point of a first place team plunking a team with no shot of making playoffs? If it were a team in contention maybe so that when you see them later they will lay off the inside but no gain from the Yankees perspective.

If you follow this logic it would make a whole lot more sense for Ms pitchers to claim that inside part of the plate

I don't think they will, I wouldn't be the least bit shocked if they did.

Maybe it's a little unclassy of me to do so, I did laugh when they hit A-Rod and injured him! haha

I ain't got a problem with unintentionnally hitting a batter, but find it's always bad when he is gonna miss that much games. Regardless of the team or the player.
