View Full Version : Pronosis for the upcoming NY serie ?

Exciting serie as we just swept the last 2. It will be interesting to face those yankees who took 2/3 a week ago. Will they face a brand new, confidence boosted, Mariners team ?

How about returning the favor and take 2 ? I hope I don't ask too much... But if it meant to happen that sounds to be a perfect timing.

What do you M's fans think ?

I was talking to the only friend of mine that follows baseball (and it's nothing like the obsession I have going), and I was saying that what is nice is this: The Mariners are clearly far below the Yankees talent-wise, top to bottom. Some areas we have an advantage (bullpen, defense), but not in championship winning areas... However, I have the feeling like on any given day we have a chance to win, and that's a feeling I haven't had in a while.

A game like tonight... C.C. Sabathia vs. Kevin Millwood in the Bronx... We aren't supposed to win this game, but we CAN. We have good numbers on the road.
Key to C.C. is and always has been: Get him EARLY.

My prediction: 1 out of 3 for the Mariners!

^ Sounds good to me. Just feels great to actually have a level of confidence in these guys (knock on wood).

As your post was going I wouldn't imagine you'll predict a sweep haha ! Didn't saw this one coming :)

Yikes that game looked rough, glad I missed it. I'd like to extend my deepest condolences to anybody that had the misfortune of watching it in its entirety.
