The fences are moving in! Left center got pulled in 12 feet!

LOL this was running on local news all day too. I think it's a good move. Vargas will have to adjust, and so will his ERA.

I was a skeptic but they did it an i am thinking this could be a good thing....

Does the biggest move do not concern the 'pen, where you're suppose to stand ?
Anyway, good or bad move it may worth the try. Yestersday's game have been at least a good point to move the fence in with so much "could have been HRs doubles"

Food for thought- I read on twitter from Jason Churchill that he went back and looked at Justin Smoak's hit chart and he would have had a 30 homer season with the new dimensions. He'd still have basically been an awful hitter, but that's something good.
The home run totals and averages will go up. Scoring will go up in the stadium, but let's also be honest- fly ball pitchers like Jason Vargas are going to get hurt by this. Our team pitching totals will probably be demonstrably affected. There is a give and take here. I think I just got to the point where I was willing to try anything to get this team going and get on board with any idea. Looks the the M's are there too.
