Hey Sports Fans!

I'm a freaking idiot for listening to sports talk radio. So the Hawks may go 10 / 6 and will look back on the Miami game as one that got away. Playah, please. The Hawks got beat in Miami. Gave up possession late in the fourth quarter and the top flight defense failed to get the ball back or hold'em. 'Could not finish vs. a team that had lost their previous three games.

Yes fandom would be very interesting for our team to go 10 / 6, if it were not for getting cracked by teams considered by local media to be 'Dumpster Fires', 'Inferior Talent', or the fiasco in San Francisco losing a game to a team scoring 7 total points.

To achieve the originally reasonable goal of 10 wins at this point in the season, the Hawks would damn near have to run the table. Yeah, Chicago sucks right now, and Buffalo is iffy. Just the right ingredients for close ones. Then there are 3 home games to be played vs. teams 'we' lost against.

So from this wobbly Hawks fans' perspective it ain't looking so good. Thank goodness I'm not a professional sports annalist because then I'd have to go on-the-air and report that it doesn't matter of whether or not the Hawks can beat this team or that team, it's a matter of can they put together two wins in a row. That would be blasphemous for a homer. Too honest an assessment. Sports talk is not famous for continuity. All that is required is they keep talking. Can you say 8 / 8 ?

Go Hawks!

Yeah, ass. You're a freaking idiot alright. But before I get started, let's get one thing out there straight away. The Seahawks win against the Bears was absolutely huge. Victory on a road trip in a hostile environment - and the manner in which it was done; wow! Exactly what the team and Seattle football fans needed and at precisely the right time. And overcoming adversity to boot.

Do me a favor, jerk. Take a minute to get off your negative pity-pot long enough to tell me if you can remember the last time Seattle finished a game with back to back scoring drives totaling 177 yards offense. HUH?! Might have been the best I've ever seen.

So in response to the BS diatribe, 'no', the Bears don't suck, and 'yes', Seattle can win two in a row. Wake up, Harry. We got a shot!
