That's almost exactly how much they're saving by trading Vargas' contract for Morales'. Coincidence?

I like Raul Ibanez. I always have. Everything I've ever heard or seen about him say he's a fine human being and a great teammate. But he just isn't a major-league-level baseball player anymore.

OMG, guys! I just remembered--Raul Ibanez is also a catcher!

So now we can trade Jaso for an impact outfielder. Roster problems solved!

Interesting write up by USSMariner trying to somewhat debunk why Raul might not be a great person to guide our younger players. Don't really know if it has any validity at all.
