This sucks for Langerhans, but it had to be done due to the short bullpen. Hopefully Langerhans can make it through waivers and get down to Tacoma because we need him if Byrnes or Bradley get injured.

Colome pitched well in Spring Training. The guy has good stuff; hopefully it carries over to the regular season against real MLB hitters

Good move by the Mariners. It sucks for Langerhans who did give us 2 free wins last year, but at the same time... how much added benefit was it having this guy on our roster? It seems like it sucks more for HIM than for the Mariners. Colome has some nasty heat too... this puts pretty much everyone in our bullpen with a good fastball except White I believe.

Yea, Colome gave us three innings today which was big to save the bullpen for tomorrow. Like you said pretty much everyone in the bullpen can rush it up there in the mid 90's consistently other than White and Texeira, but they are both sinkerball pitchers.

Hopefully everyone in the pen can find their own identity and we can get this group rolling like they did last year. They have struggled a little bit so far, but it's early.

I havent watched Texeira pitch much but he doesnt gas it up eh? I know he relies on slider pitches and well pitched location.

Him and White both throw in the low 90's consistenly which isn't bad at all either, it's just the other guys in the pen can rush it up there even better.
