Nothing wrong with our pitching. Mr. Z failed to sign us the bat we have needed for the last two years and a good DH.

Do you think we should give Jermaine Dye a call?

Not unless the team is going to part with Griffey or Sweeney... I would take Dye any day over Griffey, but other fans would completely disagree with me.

I say we get rid of one of them. If we had to it would probably be Sweeney due to his lack of patience and that he hits right handed. Relegate Griffey to the bench with spot starts for Dye here and there and let Jermaine be the full-time DH for a while.

Dye hit 27 homers and batted .250 last year which is a hell of a lot better than what Sweeney and Griffey are doing.

Yup but right now it remains just a pipe dream. I would be shocked if the team let either one of them go at this point.

Yeah the Seattle fans that know nothing about baseball would abandon the team if we dropped their savior, Griffey.
