Mariners Fire Hitting Coach Alan Cockrell

Didnt take a rocket scientist to see this one coming. Alan Cockrell has been fired after a terrible start with the bats. I say lets try and get Edgar Martinez in the organization as the hitting coach. Unlikely but not out of the question.

Kinda tough for him. Probably wasn't his fault, but he has to be used as the scapegoat. The players will get fired soon if they don't step it up.

Yeah, I hate it when this happens. I'm trying to keep out of trouble over in Geoff Baker's blog thread... When the team does badly, someone pays, and another side effect is the fans go all "lord of the flies" on each other! Probably wasn't a bad guy. Couldn't have been worse than Paul "Just Do What I Did And You'll F'n Rule" Molitor... Probably time to fire the bench coach next... Hey, how about Griffey!?
