I'm a lifelong M's fan (and emotional masochist, for that matter ;)). My favorite M's would have to be Milton Bradley and Mike Sweeney. Just seeing the way Bradley plays out there, and how angry he gets when he pops up or strikes out, it shows me that he cares, something that's hard to do on a team 14 games out. And how can you not like Mike Sweeney, he's so positive about everything! Then, my "Ayala" would have to be Rob Johnson. I expect two things from a major league catcher: 1. That they can hit at at least a .250 clip, and 2. They can block wild pitches from getting to the backstop. He does neither. A small part of me dies every time I see him come to the plate in a high leverage situation.
