oh my gosh. The era of Rob Johnson still continues. Now we DFA Alfonzo who has been a little better. I have some very evil thoughts right now but I will not post them on a public message board... they involve steroids while someone sleeps.

Alfonzo was not rad, but he's also not Rob Johnson, and that's a big deal for me.
In a probably-totally-unrelated-to-recent-rumor-mongering move. The Mets signed Michael Barrett to a minor league contract today.

As much as we hate Robo "passball" Johnson, he will never get DFA by the Mariners as long as Felix Hernandez is pitching for us. The team is going to do whatever it takes to make its ace happy. That is the unfortunate reality of it.

I think the mariners could get somthing for johnson with kotchman. Johnson maybe worthless but we could get somthing along with trading him with kotchman who is a great defensive player.

A great defensive player who mine as well step up to the plate without a bat, cause lord knows he doesn't know how to use the damn thing. We couldn't get much of anything in a Johnson/Kotchman package.

In my book, that earns Rob a pass for this series only on complaints that he's a waste of a roster spot.
