Though the Giants' bullpen is flush with right-handed relievers, Sabean hasn't been shy about adding redundancy when the team is contending. One righty the Giants are said to be investigating is the Mariners' Brandon League.


While League hasn't been consistent this year, I wouldn't just give him up for nothing. He's under club control until 2012.

I agree completely. League right at this moment is probably our most steady bullpen arm. It's a toss up who won the League/Morrow swap.

Most of the problems with League seem to be the result of using him too much. And an overreliance on fastballs, but that's been true of almost every Mariners pitcher this year.
