Any chance Lou Pinellia would come out of retirement to manage here again? I know, probably wishful thinking, but I'd love to see it happen!

No way! Look, I loved having Lou and all, but bringing him back would reek of trying to recapture the past. We hold a very high opinion of Lou, and I worry he could tarnish that if he were to return. There are a lot of capable managers out there right now (Fredi Gonzalez, Eric Wedge, Bobby Valentine, to name a few), and hiring Lou would just seem like a step back.

I agree with you TITTDA, I was a big fan of Lou and still am. But after reading what all the cubs fans said about Lou, I think it could turn out similar to what happened with Griffey. Let us let the icon live in our memory.

No thanks Lou looks past his prime and his managing skills look to have detereated. I don't know if Wak deserves to be fired i certainly wouldn't mind it he seems soft and the players don't seem to respect him a whole lot. I don't know if anyone else found it weird but Z didn't even repremand Figgins for the lazy play and him and Wak getting into it so maybe Waks job really is in jeapordy if he doesn't start winning. He was given a roster full of crap though.

I don't know why Moore is sitting in Triple A right now and Johnson is still catching Moore is crushing the ball in Triple A while Johnson is flailing and playing terrible. No more pass ball excuses with Felix either im sorry i have seen way to many of these with Rob for that to be an excuse for him to keep catching.
