One day after helping Tacoma win PCL title, Justin Smoak is at Safeco Field today. Looks like it's callup time.

Since coming back up, Justin Smoak has hit .294/.333/.471 with 2 HR and 2 BB in 9 games.

Apparently the elderly gypsy he ran over on his way up from Texas has forgiven him and returned to him his ability to see baseballs.

And, as I posted in the chat, he has 12 home runs in his first 95 major league games including those god awful games after the trade. That would average out over the course of a full season to be 20 home runs. That would be second on the team to Branyan (25) and the 12 he currently has ties him for 2nd on the team with Gutierrez. That's sad, but it could be a sign of really good things to come.
