If two blown saves doesn't tell you that we have a problem with Brandon Morrow, perhaps three will! Don Wakamatsu has failed to figure out that Brandon Morrow is having MAJOR command issues when trying to close for the Mariners. On May 13th, Brandon Morrow blew a save in the 11th inning when the Mariners were up 5-4. Just following on May 14th, Morrow blew yet another save when the Mariners were up 2-0.

As a fan of the Mariners, I can tell you right now, there is NOTHING more frustrating than watching a winning game go down the tube because of a poor closer. So what should we do with Morrow? He claims he has no interesting in being a starter, and the team agrees he should remain a closer. But then again, Morrow can't close a game!

That leaves us with two options:
1. Send him down to AAA until he can learn to control his pitches and get some outs.
2. Leave him in the bullpen and pray really hard with a candle before each game that Morrow will actually throw a good game.

What is the best option? You decide. I'm going with option 1.
