I thought I'd just give a few suggestions as to hotels to stay at before Mariners games for those who are not local. These do not have to do with location to the ball park, they have to do with quality! If you are looking for a hotel local to the ball park, you should stay at the Silver Cloud Stadium Hotel which is located directly across from Safeco Field.

Choice # 1: WorldMark Camlin
My favorite hotel in Downtown Seattle is actually a time share unit in downtown known as the WorldMark Camlin (property ID #7731). This hotel has had millions of dollars poured into it when it was purchased by WorldMark, and believe me, it shows! Each room has elegent design styles (all related to the 1930's) and the largest bathroom I've ever seen. Stay here if you get a chance because it's pure luxery!

Choice #2: The Westin Seattle
I fell in love with the Westin Seattle because if it's great location and it's prime views of downtown. There is nothing like sleeping in the clouds, and that is almost exactly what you'll do when you stay in the Westin Seattle. With 40+ floors in the North Tower, you can get one heck of a view. Prices are very expensive for this property, but sometimes priceline's "Name Your Own Price" will get you a win here.

Choice #3: Silver Cloud Stadium
Perfect hotel if you don't want to take a taxi into downtown. This hotel is very new and perfectly located for us Mariners fans. Great staff and nice hotel rooms. Nothing to rant on about, but it's very good. They offer a shuttle service into downtown. Do be prepared to tip the driver.
