New Conference schedule for tomorrow at Yankees Stadium. This has to hurt an already questionable yankees rotation. On the bright side, another 13 million the yankees save I suppose.. that makes about 55 million or so (Pettitte, Lee, Crawford) they can "hang onto". Since money grows on a magic tree for them, it's not much of a bright side.

This one really hurts the Yankees, the dude was 11-3 last year with them. Although it would never happen, now would be one of the best times to trade King Felix to the Yanks and get a boatload.

I was thinking the same thing, but man would it be tough. I am not sure I could agree with the trade regardless of what came back. Oh man, tough decision.

Sucks for the Yankes. You guys think Pettitte is a hall of famer?

i say no, i dont think he has the career of a hall of famer, but because he was a yankee, i wouldn't be surprised to see him get in. the 5 championship rings are because of his team, not all because of him.

Pettitte isn't quite a hall of famer.

I think Pettitte won't be a hall of famer. His stats aren't quite good enough he has around a 3.8 ERA for postseason and regular season games. He pitched for a long time, 15 seasons. He has good career numbers: "240-138 , 3.88 ERA, 19 postseason wins, five World Series rings."
His biggest problem though is that he lives with the cloud of the steroid era and the fact that he admitted to using steroids.

Welcome DoctorZ! Glad you finally figured out how to post lol. Yeah I completely overlooked the steroid issue. That in my mind, will eliminate his chances.

I do like the way he came out and admitted everything, but I agree, that will in large, keep him out.
