Breaking news! According to King 5, the Mariners have announced Don Wakamatsu of the Oakland A's to be Seattle's new Manager.
Just doing a little research, Don Wakamatsu has never been a manager of any team before but played in the major leagues with the Chicago White Socks until 1991.
He is 45 years old and has been both a bench coach and a third base coach. He managed 2 games in his life.
What do you think about him as a manager? I'm kinda shocked they didn't go with Joey Cora, but whoever does the job the best is fine with me. Is he the guy the Mariners need?
