My name is Travis, and I'm addicted to the Seattle Mariners. I'm also a HUGE Miami Dolphins fan and have been a member of a popular Dolphins messageboard for 6 years. I've been searching for a good Mariners board for some time and with the NFL lockout, I've been trying several different ones but not finding any with much action.

This one looks awesome.

I'm Travis coming from Maple Valley and I hope I'll see some of you guys at Safeco this summer. :)

By the way, the chatbox at the top is really quick and easy to use during games as a form of gameday chats. Instead of gamethreads, we all use the chatbox instead. Much easier, and much faster!

Like I said in the other thread, welcome aboard! This is a growing forum, and it's great. I've been on a few other ones and this is by far my favorite. I'm a big NFL fan too, there are a few others on the board so we'll get side chats going in the "general" (non-baseball) section sometimes. TellItToTheDA did a fantasy team last year a few of us were in on. Do you follow college sports?

And, Clark, my whole life is sports. I know more about the NFL, college football and the Mariners than any person should know. I'm a casual fan of college and pro basketball and watch sports like golf, soccer and hockey from a distance. So to answer your question, yes, I'm a big college sports fan (particularly football.)

I always try to meet up with people when I can, It's always funner to sit next to someone who cares about the team than someone who only knows who Ichiro and Felix are. Unfortunlatey, I'm going to be in Jackson this summer most of the time. But when I get back in September I will for sure be hitting up the games. I pray they'll still be in the race at that time.
