Default Thoughts from the rest of the AL West

1/16th of the way into the season, what are your thoughts on the ALWest?

Texas: The Rangers are rolling right now. Their rotation 1-5 is solid and their bullpen is very deep. I don't have to say anything about their lineup, because they are so stacked there.
Seattle: I don't know what to make of them at this point. We squashed the A's, as expected. And got taken to school by the Rangers, as expected.
Oakland: They're horrible. They've got Eric Sogard as a starter. 'nuff said.
LAA: Guys like Haren and Santana are struggling right now, but they'll turn it around. Pujols is going to break out soon and go on a HR barrage. The thing that I do worry about is their bullpen and their age. Their bullpen is horrible and Vernon Wells and Torrii Hunter have very little left. The problem with trading for Pujols is that they now have Trumbo sitting on the bench. When he plays third, he's a disaster.

    My thoughts,

LAA: They had pretty much put all their eggs in the pujols basket. I think they are going to have a pretty awful season to be honest with you, which because one of my best friends is a Los Angeles transplant and loves the Angels. So I hope they have a season like we did in 2010 so I can rub it in his face haha!

Oakland: Cespedes is a great pick up for them, however, I think that's really the only bright spot they have. Bob Melvin is going to have as memorable time in Oakland as he had in Seattle.

Texas: It wouldn't surprise me the least bit if they went to the World series again. Though my friend made the joke that they are going to be like the Buffalo Bills of the MLB.

Seattle: I believe we can do better than we did last year, though that isn't really saying much, but I think if we can be consistent, we can probably edge out Oakland and LAA and get a 2nd place finish this season.

LAA will get it turned around, and it will start tonight against the horrible Athletics.

They certainly are proving you right so far. I'll still be rooting for the A's to edge it out in the rest of that series.
