    Default Penn State?

Did the NCAA do the right thing laying down those punishments?

Honestly, I don't think it's the fault of their football program. The one who deserves punishment is already in prison.

The Penn State crimes are about protecting power, privilege, and a $70 million dollar per year cash cow. NCAA involvement/punishments are inconsequential. Slamming Sandusky away is but seed for more ill will. Punishment has more to do with the cause of cruelty rather than any semblance of amends. I'd like to see Penn State reach out to humanity making a statement having real impact. Anything less is a dirty bandage.

Leave the statue of Joe Pa right where it stands as a tribute to all that make the decision to do nothing. Maybe build a $70 million dollar research institute with special interest regarding the psychology of personal power, deceit, cruelty, violence, etc.

Paterno and Sandusky are victims too. They did not have the tools to practice discernment.
