Default Feels great to win again...

Now we need to take this momentum on the road trip and win a few series. It will be a long, tough climb back to .500, but hopefully we can do it.

It all starts Tuesday with Cliff Lee on the hill for us. We need to win that game to have a successful road trip.

Maybe we can even keep the pink bats a few more games.

Do you think this was a fluke or the bats actually gonna heat up? If I was Wakamatsu, I would send the exact same lineup, same guys up to the plate and see if it continues.

Probably a fluke, but like you said, the only way to find out is to run the same lineup out there a couple of games in a row.

I don't know... It's always hard to say, but I'm forever the optimist. I always rooted for the "good guys" when I watched wrestling, even though the "heels" were usually cooler. I think that even yesterday there were some signs of improvement. I was in a ski chalet at Snoqualmie Pass watching MLB Gameday and that last at bat by Sweeney was mind numbingly aggravating (possibly more so for my girlfriend, who had to "tolerate" the laptop on the dinner table!). Dude walks the bases loaded and you just come out swinging at everything he throws? He's Fernando Rodney for pete's sake! I digress. They had some base running gaffes today, but Ichiro stole 3 bases and as we had touched on a little in another thread-- that mental game, confidence, it means so much in baseball. I look for them to do well in the upcoming series. I like their chances, and if there's anything they need right now it's another bad team, but this one's got bad pitching! (I am aware that the M's like to make crap pitchers look like Sandy Koufax, but COME ON! They can't defy mathematics forever).
