So far... The Mariners win on the Brandon/Brandon Swap
Let's take a peek at the numbers so far this season:
Brandon League: 19.1 IP. 1.86 ERA, 12 strikeouts and opponents hitting just above .200 off of him.
Brandon Morrow: 35.0 IP. 6.69 ERA, 46 strikeouts and opponents hitting .260 off of him.
What do we make of this? I'd say we can clearly see that Morrow is STILL struggling command wise whereas League seems to have it figured out. Morrow has a greater strikeout ratio for sure, but I would clearly take League with those numbers. Looks like trader Jack Z still keeps finding good players that other teams dont go after. I have no doubt that we have a good GM, he just needs to start finding us good bats at this point. I dont know if he's scared to get bats or what the issue is.
Now I cant wait till I can make a thread about Milton hitting .300 and Carlos Silva getting lit up like a lightbulb. Sorry Cubsfan lol! Once you see Silva implode you will need to get alot of toilet paper and a new set of underwear.

As we all know, Morrow has always had tremendous stuff, but he can't control it at all when he's off. League has been a dominating set-up man this year for us. I don't think Morrow will ever be able to be a consistent starter in the majors at this rate.

League single-handedly blew the game today. Pathetic. I don't want either of them anymore.
