Default Mike Sweeney returning off the disabled list

Mike was on quite a tear before his back started acting up again which knocked him out for a while. Luke French was sent down to make room for Sweeney.

Hopefully Sweeney can keep his back straight and re-gain the same hitting form he had before the back spasms.

My good friend and only local friend that follows baseball at all will be very happy to hear this. His name is Mike, and he likes Mike Sweeney because it sounds like "Mike's Weenie" so he feels like when Mike Sweeney does well, everyone gives props to his jewels. I brought him and another friend to a game last year against Oakland. My other friends name is Ryan. Yeah. Their "weenies" really went at it that night. Luckily, I don't know anyone named Brian.

LOL. That is kind of odd, but funny at the same time. I don't know what it is about the term "weenie", but it's freaking halarious.

LOL. Funny story Clarknova. Not sure if I'm excited about this move or not... haven't made up my mind tbh.

Yeah it looks like Rowland-Smith will be the fifth starter until Bedard returns. And French is the out man out with Fister returning.

Anyone know why Sweeney isn't getting any ABs since returning from the DL? I'd love to see some pop back in the lineup.

I have wondered the same thing... He hasn't been in the lineup for days now. If they don't plan to play him what is the point of having him on the Roster?
