I hate to say it... but maybe it's the Cubs and Lou?
Last year it was Milton Bradley. And while I can't say he's performed up to par, at the same time he has not been a headcase for the Mariners this year. In fact I think he is one of the fan's favorite players. This year it's Carlos Zambrano for the cubs. He was suspended indefinitely after pointing fingers and yelling at teammates. Tough to have this happen to a 3 time all star, but his good days are indeed behind him.
My thought with this is that perhaps the Cubs organization needs to look at how they can stop these player altercations. No doubt having Lou Pinella as your manager is going to add wood on the fire, but this is two players in two seasons that are (or at least one time were) all-star players. Were the cubs just unlucky to have two headcases, or is this something a little deeper than we the fans see?
Your thoughts? (Especially you, The Lone Granger since I know you are a cubs fan!)

Well, it's a lot more than just having two players that have anger issues. Zambrano has been having this outbreaks for quite some time (4 years or so now), and now it's just starting to boil over. What's making it worse now, is that the Cubs were one of the most consistent and best teams in Major League Baseball three seasons ago, and to come down to trying to fight out of slipping down to last in the NL Central is wearing on them. Zambrano is not going to be playing as a Cub anymore, I'm pretty sure that's already decided. Honestly, in the next few weeks your going to see pretty much everyone in the Cubs organization be shopped. I think Aramis Ramirez, Carlos Zambrano, Ted Lilly, Derrek Lee, Ryan Theriot, and maybe Ryan Dempster are all going to get traded. It's time for the Cubs to re-build, no offense to Lou but get a new manager, and just start from scratch.

We've been there and done that. This is going to be our 2nd rebuild season in 3 years... It's hard because you know your team next year won't be that great.
