Sean White to AAA, Chad Cordero refused assignment and was released, Chris Seddon called up from AAA, and Jamey Wright signed. Woo. I'd compare these moves to shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Lol...I'm just glad to see that White won't be coming in in the 7th anymore to inflate the opponent's lead.
^I agree, I'm just glad White is gone. I swear that dude gave up a run every outing he had.
If anyone was wondering, Chad Cordero signed a minor league contract with the Mets. Hmm. He refuses a minor league assignment here, yet signs a minor league deal in New York.

Report: Ex-Mariner Cordero to sign with Mets
Reliever Chad Cordero, who was released by the Mariners last week, is close to a minor league deal with the New York Mets, ESPN.com reported Wednesday.
Cordero was designated for assignment when the Mariners signed Jamey Wright and promoted Chris Seddon from Triple-A Tacoma. Cordero refused the assignment and became a free agent.
Cordero, 28, was called up from Tacoma after Ken Griffey Jr. retired. He had not pitched in the major leagues since 2008 after suffering a shoulder injury. In nine games for the Mariners he went 0-1 with a 6.52 ERA. From 2005-07, he had 113 saves for the Washington Nationals.
