I dunno, I like both teams, but now that Cliff Lee got wacked, guess I gotta go with the Giants.

    Giants all the way.
I rooted for Texas to beat NY only because my two favorite AL teams are the Mariners and whoever is playing the Yankees. Beyond that, I can not root for a division rival. I don't see it as sour grapes, it's a matter of an emotional response for me. All year long I root against the other teams in our division. I can't just switch that off. The better they do, the worse we look. It's not their "fault" they're a great team, but the fact of the matter is that Texas is not going to suck ANYTIME soon. They'll stand in the way of us making the playoffs for years, because let's face it- no team outside the AL East has a great chance to win the wild card. I can't cheer for a team that has become a barrier between the M's and success. I fully understand that the biggest barriers we have are on our own team, but when we do run a more and more talented team out on the field, Texas will still be good. That said, I have an attachment and respect for Cliff Lee that goes beyond the team he plays on, unless it's the Yankees, then I'll have to hate him. It was the same with Tino Martinez. I was glad the Giants won last night, but I was a little bummed out for Lee. He's a great player and a decent human being. It's hard for me not to root for the guy.

Definitley the Giants i hope the Rangers don't win it at all since there an AL West Rival. Also hope the Yankees sign Cliff Lee id hate to see him as a Ranger and have to face him each season for the next 5-6 years.
